MES Family Update- Week #3
First Full Week! Well Done Lions!!
We have officially completed our first full week of school, and what a great week it has been! We had lots of fun at our Welcome Back Assembly on Wednesday! We had some friendly competition, and our students got to meet our staff here at MES. Our Lions are settling into routines, building friendships, and learning what it means to be a safe, respectful, and responsible member of our school community.
This week, we also practiced our first fire drill. Fire drills are an important part of keeping everyone safe. Our students practiced listening carefully to their teachers, walking calmly and quietly to our designated locations, and following directions. While drills may feel different from a typical school day, practicing these routines helps us be prepared in case of an emergency.
We appreciate your support in reminding your child that safety is everyone's responsibility. Simple reminders about listening to adults, walking in the hallways, following directions, and speaking up when something doesn't feel right can make a big difference.
Thank you for helping us make safety, kindness, and responsibility a part of what it means to be a Lion, and for being partners with us in making MES a great place to learn and grow!
Have a great weekend!

An operation and management plan was developed in 1988, and all 3-year follow-up inspections have been conducted to help us manage the materials in a manner that eases the safety of our students, employees, and vendors.
